Advancing at last! Despite a close score after each of the first two quarters, stars Elias Chin and Trent Maclean were able to help the Lancers to a huge second half. Record breaker Elias Chin was able to put together a spectacular 25 point and 14 rebound performance that was backed by a 20 point performance from junior Maclean, which the Lancers capitalized on. The halftime score provided the Lancers a 24-20 lead over the MLK Wolves but a 31 point third quarter would give the lancers a big 55-31 lead with a lone eight minutes left to play. A defensive weakness for the Wolves helped towards the big Lancer third quarter. “We needed to get the ball inside, because the paint was wide open last night, so we needed to slow down and get the ball inside to get easy points.” Maclean told the Lancer.
Onto the Next
Big performance from Lancer stars backend a huge playoff victory.
