Fast start, with no slowing down, your Lancers took down the Chaffey Tigers 3-1. A very early goal from junior attacker Gabriel Torreblanca gave the Lancers a quick 1-0 lead, but that would not be all from Torreblanca in the opening half, as he would follow that goal with another first half goal which lead the Lancers into half with a commanding two goal lead. The Lancers would not be done there as star senior captain Uziel Diaz came through for his guys once more by scoring his team their third and final goal of the night. Chaffey would score in the closing minutes of the game to shorten the lead to 3-1, but it was too little too late as the Lancers defensive front would stay strong and hold off the Tigers as the final whistle soon arrived. 

“They (Chaffey) ended up scoring a goal late, but we stuck to the plan our coach gave us and executed it well. We knew once we scored the third goal we had to just sit back and defend.” senior Diego Estrada told the Lancer. With the home victory behind them, the Lancers advance and will travel to Temecula to face off against the Great Oak Wolfpack on February 9th.
