Champions at last! With their last home game, and second to last regular season game, being against the two-time reigning league champions, the Lancers knew they had a tall task ahead against the Agoura Chargers with the league championship on the line. On senior night, senior attacker Mikey Houghtaling was able to land a strike in the back of the net off a counterattack, this early first half goal gave the Lancers a 1-0 lead which they would then carry into halftime. The second half, although tiring, was also exhilarating because everyone in the stands knew that if TO held on they would once again be Marmonte League Champions. With that said, Senior Goalkeeper Andy Johnson had a very commanding clean sheet in the second half as the Lancers all showcased a gritty defensive performance crowned the Lancers as the newest Marmonte League Champion. The journey was long, tough and tiring but the Lancers were able to pull off an amazing regular season anchored by all twelve seniors.
