Skincare by Hyram?

Everyone’s heard of the TikTok skincare enthusiast, Hyram Yarbro. Here at Thousand Oaks, which students have tested his advice, and what were the results?

As teenagers, maintaining happy and healthy skin can be tricky. It’s always difficult to know your skin and to start a routine that’s best for you. Without access to a professional, it would take a significant amount of time and research to create a skincare routine customized for your skin type specifically.

Thankfully, we have Hyram Yarbro, a TikTok user and self-care expert, who even The New York Times calls “The Gen Z whisperer.” His main goal is to help those of all ages find products that will work the best for their skin.

Although Yarbro is not a certified dermatologist, he has spent the last four or so years studying and researching what really goes into facial products, and how they affect the skin.

In one of Yarbro’s YouTube videos titled: “FYI: I’m Not A Dermatologist” posted on Dec. 21, 2017, he explains that he has no form of legal expertise in this area, but his advice has changed the faces of many.

“I am in no way a dermatologist,” Yarbro said. “I have never gotten an educational degree, certifying me within skincare knowledge, I have never had intense dermatological skincare practice…”

However, these facts haven’t stopped most from trusting his words.

Hyram strongly recommends the skincare brand CeraVe, due to the lack of harmful products and use-simplicity. Before his eventual partnership with the business, it is believed that Yarbro’s influence was the sole reason CeraVe products were sold out at most carrying stores for around a few months in the middle of 2020.

Yarbro’s suggestions have reached millions of people, including TOHS students. His ideas have benefited many of those that surveyed, such as Thousand Oaks Senior, Kira Keller.

“I saw a few of Hyram’s TikTok videos back in June of 2020. When I went looking for CeraVe products to try, they were all sold out and I couldn’t get a hold of them for months,” Keller said. “When I finally bought what was right for me, I saw positive results around a week after I began using it, and I would for sure recommend Hyram’s advice to anyone looking for a good routine.”

“I’m really glad I heard about CeraVe products from Hyram.” Thousand Oaks Junior Finley Quintard said. “I don’t use them anymore, but when I did I noticed some pretty good results.”

Thanks to Yarbro’s suggestions, many teens and adults are loving their skin. Because of his strong, positive opinion on CeraVe, the company has gained lots of business, and they now work alongside each other.

If you’ve never heard of Hyram or his unbiased views and you’re looking for a steady skincare routine, I suggest that you hear what he has to say. After all, since he is not licensed, and all he has to say is already out there on the internet, it’s completely free, so what do you have to lose?
