Hey Lancers! This is week 2 of online learning, and even though there is no school, it was still an eventful week!
On Sunday, TOHS alumna and former ASB president Olivia Birg started The Coronavirus Kindness Challenge, encouraging people to spread kindness through sidewalk chalk, communication, and helpful acts. Also on Sunday all Conejo Valley open space hiking trails were officially closed to encourage people to stay home and fight the spread of the Coronavirus.
Message from COSCA:
All of us at COSCA love open space and we love all of you in our community of trail users. We’re so sorry that we had to take this step, but we believe it is best for the care of the land. https://t.co/f3k3vbYRoa pic.twitter.com/UKPimf6E7K

On Wednesday, at 7 p.m. many could be seen placing Luminaries and candles outside their houses to show their support for medical professionals and the community. Great Job, Lancers!
On Thursday the Superintendent of CVUSD announced that all schools would stay closed for the rest of the school year. The district continues to work to make online school engaging for all ages and to give our seniors this year the same experiences they deserve.

Today, Friday, TOHS junior Addy Terentieff set up a donation station in front of Wildwood Elementary School for people to donate food and supplies to the elderly and those who cannot risk leaving their homes. Way to support the community!
That’s all for this week, Lancers! Continue to practice social distancing and stay safe!
